Transition of the Believer:
Our Father in Heaven loves us so much that He will NEVER leave us alone. Our journey to maturity only begins when we accept Christ as Lord and Savior and will last till the day we leave this earth. NCFM's Department of Transition endeavors to study that transition. Not ony in the Christian individual but the church as well. One of the greatest stumbling blocks to the Christian and the church is the thought that God is stagnant in His dealings with His sons and daughters. Humans are prone to habit, and the reason being is that they LIKE comfort. It's "comfortable" to get used to where you live, where you work and even where you go to church. It's comfortable to know that when you wake up tomorrow you pretty much will know how to handle those days situations. Even when dealing with God, Christians love to get in a routine with Him. Most of them have their routine for Bible reading, prayer, church attendance down pat and they pretty much know the times of how long each will last and what they will do. There is nothing wrong with routine until that routine is unbreakable, unshakeable, and mundane. The Christian doesn't mature because he or she does routine well, they mature because God matures them through relationship with Him. Knowing how the Father works, knowing how much He loves and having that intimate relationship with Him will allow you to mature in Him.
